From the FM 2764 sign south across the railroad 100 feet then a quick zigzag southeast on CR .2 mile. Continue on CR 262 .25 mile to the cemetery

  • Heard Cemetery, Egypt. Located on the west side of FM 102 near CR 257. From Wharton, take FM 102 to Egypt.  Just past FM 1161, turn left on CR 257. About X feet on the left is a sign reading, “Wharton County Historical Museum Research Site.” This marks the entrance to the road to the cemetery and the marker location.
